Billing
Will I be charged right away when I sign up?
No. Sign-up takes an email address and a password — no card. Every plan starts with a free trial, and you only subscribe (inside the app, under Billing) when you decide to keep it.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, from Billing, in one click. Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Cancel a paid plan and you keep full access until the end of the period you paid for; it simply does not renew.
How safe is my payment information?
Payments run through Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch VeloCapture's servers — we hold no card numbers, only Stripe's reference to your subscription.
What if something goes wrong with a charge?
Write to us. A person looks at every billing question within one business day; we would rather fix a wrong charge than argue about it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Cancel a monthly plan within 14 days of its first charge and we refund that charge, no questions asked. Cancel an annual plan within 30 days of paying and we refund the unused months pro rata. After those windows a cancellation simply stops the renewal. Refunds cover the subscription charge; on the BYOK plan what you pay Anthropic for AI is between you and Anthropic.
What does a plan include — and what costs extra?
One flat price per company (or per agency, with any number of client companies) and unlimited team members. Nothing is metered per lead, per search or per seat. The only variable is AI: on the Full plan it runs on our key; on the BYOK plan it runs on your own Anthropic key and you pay Anthropic directly at cost.
The product
Where does the data come from?
Official public records first: SAM.gov, Grants.gov, USAspending, CMS and NPPES for healthcare, SEC filings, and state and city procurement portals. On top of that, licensed feeds, and any bid alerts you already receive (BidNet, InstantMarkets) forwarded into your workspace. We never buy or resell contact-data lists, and your data is never sent to a data broker.
Does it send emails on its own?
No. AI drafts; a person approves. Every outreach email is reviewed before it goes, carries the legally required footer and an unsubscribe link, and honours your suppression list. Sequences can send an approved touch on its scheduled day only if you switch that on — it ships off.
What is "bring your own AI key"?
The same product, with the AI features running on your own Anthropic key instead of ours. Your prompts and documents go to Anthropic under your account, you see the spend on your own bill, and the plan costs less because we are not paying for your AI.
I run an agency — can one workspace hold several clients?
Yes. An agency workspace holds any number of client companies, each with its own profile, leads, pipeline and mailboxes, kept apart from the others. Switch between them in the header; a few screens can show every client side by side.
Is my data kept separate from other customers?
Every workspace is isolated at the database level (row-level security), not just in the app. Two-factor sign-in and SSO are available, activity is audit-logged, and our trust page says exactly which sub-processors we use and why.
Do I need the browser extension or the apps?
No — everything works in the browser. The Chrome extension is a view-only helper for saving a LinkedIn profile as a contact or pulling a portal’s documents into a bid, one click at a time. The desktop and phone apps come with every plan.
Can I bring the leads I already have?
Yes. Upload your own list and it is scored, enriched from public sources and worked like any other lead. Approved leads, contacts and deals can sync to HubSpot, and stage changes come back.
